Actually I said, “I love you!”  So he had to ask, “Was that a yes?”  I said, “Yes, yes, yes Michael I will marry you!”

On October 20th Michael surprised me with a romantic proposal and a beautiful engagement ring.  No definate date has been set but we’re thinking summer 2010 after he has his Masters.

hello from china!  sorry for the absence – remember that some websites don’t work from here, but i can explain that some other time.  what matters is now i can finally log in, so all’s good.

Good stuff

Hey all, just wanted to make sure everyone gets to hear my great news.  My mom’s lastest test results said that some of the tumors are completely gone!  There are 3 small ones still left but they have all shrunk since July.  She still has to do a few more rounds of chemo.  But if we are lucky, my mom will have more hair than my nephew when he’s born in February

A cute bush baby I saw

So I’ve seen many cool typical African animals when I went on safari – giraffes, elephants, etc. (check out my facebook page for some pics).

But around the abbey here I hadn’t seen any unique animals. Just some farm animals. Until I saw this little bush baby! It was so cute I had to take a picture…

I got called on Wednesday, interviewed on Thursday, spent the weekend in Hallock, and then got offered a full time long term sub elementary art position in Bemidji this morning. The teacher is out on disability and the position is likely for the rest of the school year. So anyways…I am moving to Bemidji sometime very soon. Oh man…my life is so crazy. Wish me luck…and come visit?
