I got called on Wednesday, interviewed on Thursday, spent the weekend in Hallock, and then got offered a full time long term sub elementary art position in Bemidji this morning. The teacher is out on disability and the position is likely for the rest of the school year. So anyways…I am moving to Bemidji sometime very soon. Oh man…my life is so crazy. Wish me luck…and come visit?

Posted in general bood on September 6, 2008 by cosmano…so check out this amazing piece of journalistic gold: “neckbeards: are they growing on you?” on the main page of www.chicagotribune.com today. for some reason i’m having problems posting the link. so just look it up manual style.
my favorite paragraph: “Neckbeards, in general, spark interest because they don’t conform to normal grooming trends and haven’t been in the public eye since Henry David Thoreau penned “Civil Disobedience,” says Louis Giersch, a non-neckbearded man who runs a Web site dedicated to them. Giersch ranks the neckbeard’s re-emergence as the most important advancement in facial hair since General Ambrose Burnside wore friendly mutton chops on the Civil War battlefield” (Stacy St. Clair).
also of note, the amazing (and helpful?) graphic linked underneath the main story on the FRONT PAGE of the CHICAGO TRIBUNE website. hahaha, oh those crazy chicagoans, they really know their priorities.
